The things that only a Mother would save.

Today I got a phone call from my Mother telling me I had to come over and see the treasures she found in an old box today. So I got on the motorcycle and headed over not knowing what her definition of “Treasure” meant. When I arrived, she was in her home office with papers and old photos spread across the floor.  These are two of the items she deemed as a treasure.

The above photo shows I haven’t advance my spelling skills.

This one shows that the right side of my brain never fully developed.

You just have to love a Mother who would find either of these cherished memories.

Here is my Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations Kit Review

Now that the counter top have been transformed it was time to recondition the cabinet’s with a Rustoleum cabinet transformations kit.  This kit was also purchased on Amazon.  The old cabinet’s were the original from when the home was built in 1980 and are in good condition but the look is outdated. So here is my Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations Review.

After reviewing the CD instructions that came with the kit, we set up a work station in the garage and organized the contents of the kit.
Again the instruction were well written and easy to follow. We created a diagram of all drawers and cabinet doors prior to removing them. Then a trip to Lowes to have the base coat color mixed in and to pick out new cabinet knobs and we were ready to begin.

Using the de-glosser  we found easier to use once a putty knife was used first to scrape off the old lacquer, then the rest wiped off fairly easily.  The two coats of base coat are very easy to apply and each coat dried quickly. Three brushes were used for painting and each were washed regularly to prevent them from loading up too thick.

We did find it difficult when the top coat was ready to be applied. Like the instruction state, it does dry quickly and you can’t go over it again to smooth it out with out it gummy up.  Cabinet drawers are easy since there are not as many detail areas to do, but our cabinet doors were a different story. It seemed like once you were done with one part of a door that was close to another part that already had top coat on it, the transition area between became difficult to blend. Our weather was mid 70's and the top coat still dried faster than we could blend it. Again we  kept our brushes very clean and rotated through them.

Overall, with this being the first time doing this this project we are very happy with the outcome. For anyone with more time than money, I would highly recommend this product to. The people we invited over to see the cabinets were impressed with the outcome and couldn’t see the flaws until they were pointed out.

With the extra material left over, we decided to match the a joining laundry room cabinets and custom made pull out shelve between the two machines.

How Your Favorite Businesses Should Use Twitter (Video) Chris Pirillo

Chris just posted this 6 minute video and I think it worth watching twice, the points I really liked were just after 4 minutes in. Chris does a great job in explaining the value that Twitter has for businesses. I hear from so many people that they don’t have time for social and I understand where they’re coming from since I have the same 24 hours a day as they do. This is a task that might have to be delegated to a responsible team member or sub-contracted, but not ignored.

How to Do If Adsense Account Was Banned

Earlier I have written about “how to get Adsense account approved easily”. Yes, right now get Adsense account approved is easily but Google really strict and you will got banned also easily too if you break their rule. So how to do if a bad day come in and Google email to you that “your Adsense account was banned”, cuz you break their term and condition.
It’s a big problem and we can keep as a bad nightmare for web marketers, if Google Adsense is a main income for their online business. When you got into this bad situation, don’t panic and try to find out the main problem that cause you got banned like this.
The first thing you have to do when your Adsense account was banned:
- Review all your websites or blogs that you applied Adsense code on it if they have posted any copyright content? Because in Google Adsense term and condition they do not allow you to post the copyright content.
- And you also have to check all of your external links (outbound link) if you were linked to other sites that posted the copyright content. In this case, your site also has problem. Especially for the video website that always share illegally videos or copyright videos.
- Check out if your sites link to the free files such as Rapidshare or any Torrent sites.
- Check out if your sites posted any low quality articles or bad image or too much sexy image. Because when visitors report to Google, you will have problem.
- Check out if Google banned you only a few sites that break the rule. Just remove all of that copyright contents or remove that sites from your Adsense account.
Before you re-apply again for a new Google Adsense account, you have to make sure you already delete all of the copyright contents or articles that you have posted.
- If your Adsense account were banned, you can try to register again with the same name (your name) but use different phone number. And do not reapply your Adsense code into the blog or website was banned if you don’t want to get ban again. By the way, if you can’t get approval from the old name, you can try to use the other names from your family (but remember only the owner of that name can get pay from Google).
- If you have previously had an Adsense account and were banned and you still want to use that old name, there are various services online that will reapply for you or give you an account that has been in existence for quite some time. There is no explanation that we can offer about these types of services, but they have been around for a while, so they may be flying under Google’s radar. Most of these sites charge you around $25.00 for immediate access to an Adsense account that you can start using right away. (If you have no choice, you can try this method but we do not recommend).

What is SEO? SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a technical of improving your pagerank in the search engine for a keyword. When a website has a high pagerank, it will be displayed in the top of search results list.
Why we need a high pagerank?
All time that you do searching on a search engine such as Google, Yahoo or MSN, you’ve ever click on the result that display in the next 2nd or 3rd page? 90% is rarely.
Typically, if a website can display in the top of search results list, it will have more chances to get clicks that is a huge traffic from the search engine for free.
SEO is very important for your website. When you know how to implement SEO strategies you will see your organic traffic explode. If SEO of every page grow, your pagerank will grow and then a hurricane traffic will blow to every web page in your whole website.
Before you start creating any pages for your website, you should research on keyword to make sure that keyword was actually being searched and was getting impressions and then write the article about that keyword (it’s very important for SEO article writing). By the way, while you’re writing an article, you should think about “title, meta tags, headlines, bold, italics, images, underline, external links (backlinks), internal links and contents”.

Every pages of your website should have:
Meta Tags: 10-15 keywords related to your article (Meta Tags). In the title (Meta Title) should include the keyword. In the description (Meta Description) should include 25-35 words in a sentence format and make sure your keyword is at the beginning of the description.Title: Add your relevant keyword into the title of the article.Keyword: The keyword should be linked once in the text (the keyword will be underlined in the copy).Headlines: Make sure that you use the H1 and H2 tags in your article and write keyword targeted phrases in these tags. Many site designers completely fail to do this.
- H1: “How to Increases SEO Ranking” – it is so clear and meaningful for this article. This phrase is a top keyword in this page and also a popular keyword in Google. Why? Answer is that, you just type this phrase in Google search box you will see it appears a full phrase before you finished it.
- H2: “How to Implement SEO in Website” - it is not meaningful but it verify to a meaning of this article and it includes another keyword “SEO” that is a secret short-cut for Search Engine Optimization.
(e.g., the H1 tag and the content) should be as close to the top of possible.
Bold, Italic & Underline: The Keyword should be BOLD, ITALIC or UNDERLINE once in the article.Image: add your keyword to your image (Image description or title).Internal Links: It’s best to do an internal link, either to the same page (same URL) or to another page or your blog or website that is relevant. You may also link to a relevant external site however this should be used sparingly or at least to high ranking sites like government sites or Wikipedia for example.Backlinks: Link back to your page from external via the keyword by post some comments on forum and social media that have topic relevant to your article.URL Signature: In your links don’t forget include description on it.Contents: Must be unique and useful for your visitors.
Then write your article based on ONLY THE BEST keywords. Since each article should focus on one or two keyword/phrases, this gives you the best chance at getting listed in the natural search results. Then submit your article to at least two article directory sites (don’t use the same article, try to fix it different before submit, if not you will kill your SEO) such as:

ArticleSnatch.com (PR.5)
Goarticles.com (PR.4)
ContentSpooling.net (PR.4)
Affsphere.com (PR.3)
Search Engines always look at the H1, H2, page title or page name to identify what the site is about. Google ranks a site on the basis of how many well-ranked sites link to it. That why some webmasters exploit this by swapping links with each other. This is a wrong idea, because right now Google not ranks such sites that link each other any more.
Building website traffic is a long process not just only one day event and need your effort to do it. The best technique that is free and works well over time, is just update and add more content to your website regularly and try to connect with people in the social networking sites.
