It was finally time to start remodeling my kitchen. First the original tile from the 80's was pulled up and the cabinet kick plates removed. So I decided to refurbish the counter tops next. I purchased Rustoleum Countertop Transformation kit from Amazon for just over $200 in the desert sand color. The process is straight forward and the kit comes with a DVD and easy to read instructions. I will say, the old counter tops were a wood laminate that was very worn so I could have spray painted them and it would have been a huge improvement. Anyways, I thought this might be an inexpensive way to improve the kitchen and a project I could do myself.
With inside of the instruction book it has a time table of how long each step of the process will take. My suggestion is to ignore this and understand it will take much longer and this was my only complaint of the whole process. I highly recommend this product to confident “Do it yourselvers” that have the time to take on a project like this. Good job Mr. Rustoleum and this weekend I will be using your cabinet transformation product and I hope it has the same positive results.
